I followed her home.
She lives on Houston Street, next to a playground.
You’ll get arrested.
She needs help.
We all need help. When’s your session?
Tonight at eight o’clock.
What’s her super power?
I didn’t ask.
That’s the first question I would have asked.
I just met the woman, Joey.
What’s she look like?
She had a mask on over her eyes, like The Lone Ranger, but pretty good.
And her hair was red, yellow and green?
I told you, it’s a wig.
Glowing? Like neon?
It’s a pretty cool wig.
What’s your super power?
I’m working on it.
What happens when she asks you to demonstrate it?
I don’t know yet.
She won’t talk to you unless you have a super power.
She calls them super abilities.
Whatever. What about Helen?
What about her? It’s over.
It was over two years ago.
Not for me.
But it’s over for you now?
Thank God. How did that happen?
I moved on.
To Wonder Woman.
That’s not her name.
What is her name?
Her name is She?
Of course, what else would it be? Do you know what Skype is?
I’ll figure it out.
Don’t follow her again. She’ll get a restraining order.
I talked to some kids in the playground.
What did they say?
They said she’s crazy.
That would be hard to miss, Vin. She wears a Wonder Woman costume.
They said they liked her, she gives them money and candy.
They’re working for her.
Call me after your session.

About Project 52/2015: I like to take pictures and I like to write fiction. This Blog will combine the two in what I am calling Project 52/2015, one of my images mated with a piece of very short fiction each week in 2015. Enjoy.
