We’re big fans of character-driven stories. In our opinion, great characters can take us wherever they want to go. LePore’s characters are real, and flawed, and identifiable. You’ll recognize people you know -- and maybe even yourself -- in them. Meanwhile, the story he created in A World I Never Made is hugely dramatic from the very first words. The combination leads to one of the most exciting and engaging suspense novels we’ve read recently.
